What is the affiliate area?

The affiliate area, or affiliate portal as it’s also called, is made up of a series of pages that are created specifically for your affiliates.

These pages are similar to the customer specific pages (shop, checkout, customer account, member area, etc) that you have from the eCommerce WordPress plugin that powers your business.

Why is the affiliate area important?

The same way you offer your customers a great experience while on your website, through the customer specific pages, you can offer your affiliates a great experience through a dedicated affiliate area/portal.

What pages can I set up for my affiliate area?

With SliceWP you can create several pages dedicated specifically for your affiliates. Here’s the complete list:

  1. Affiliate registration page. On this page, you can show a registration form where visitors can sign up for your affiliate program. Click here for a step-by-step guide on how to set this page up.
  2. Affiliate account page. This is the main page of your affiliate program. Here your affiliates can log in to grab their referral link, view their stats and edit their profile. Click here for a step-by-step guide on how you can set this page up.
  3. Affiliate login page. This page is optional, as your affiliates can log in from the affiliate account page. However, if want to have a different login flow than the one integrated in the affiliate account page, you can create a separate login page dedicated specifically for your affiliates. This article will guide you through the setup process for this page.
  4. Affiliate program terms and conditions. This page should outline the terms and conditions that affiliates needs to agree with when signing up for your affiliate program. Click here for a step-by-step setup guide. Also, if you’re not sure what terms you should include for your program, click here for a quick, but comprehensive, guide.
