Adding an affiliate reset password page

To make sure your affiliates don’t get locked out of their accounts if they forget their password, you can set up a dedicated password reset page.

On this page, your affiliates will be able to set a new password with just a few clicks. Once the new password is set, your affiliates will be able to log into their account right away.

Here’s how you can set up the reset password functionality:

  1. Create a new page from your WordPress admin area > Pages > Add New.
  2. Insert the [slicewp_affiliate_reset_password] shortcode to the page. If you’re using the new WordPress editor, Gutenberg, add the shortcode by inserting a new shortcode block, as shown here:The SliceWP affiliate reset shortcode in the WordPress block editor.
  3. Select this newly created page for the Reset Password Page option in SliceWP > Settings > General (tab) > Pages Settings (section).Reset password page option in SliceWP's settings admin page.
